And we saw exactly where starting Higuain and Benzema got us. You can’t start two young, inexperienced strikers and expect them to be able to decide a CL game.

I agree with you 100% on benching Raul. I think Real is fixated on the fact that hes a fan’s player and their captain, which is clouding their vision. Its obvious Higuain is the perfect choice to lead the attack, i think you give Benzema a chance and put him up there with Higuain. The sooner the better, because if those two get chemistry going and learn to play of each other they could possibly be the most deadly attack force in Europe. Benzema has tons of potential, and the more chances you give him the quicker he can adapt.
I do disagree how ever on RVN starting with Higuan, going on with Mikisto’s point that he is not ready to play 30 or so minutes, even his experience cant over shadow that.

You raised good points there. Obvious ones but good anyway.
Benching Raúl, yes – maybe. I don’t think RVN is ready to play more than 30 or so minutes yet, and Benzema has been way worse than Raúl thru out the season.
IMO the strikers should be either Raúl and Higuain, or just go with 5 man midfield.
