The squad needs an overhaul. A world-class player will probably come for 30m, so you’re looking at 2-3 15m buys (carrick instead of keane) and then beefing up the squad in other areas as well.

Keegans methods, and motivation has taken time to set amongst the players at newcastle, but now it has we are starting to expect wins again against teams what have already beaten us early on in the season. We’ve all said the team can play better, and it is only now that we are starting to see that.

We have great players playing good, 2-3 vital signing could make the difference making the side great.

How much do we need? We need 3 world class players, and these dont come cheap most likely 10-20 million each.

For me Â£60 million.

Newcastle are 12th and in the form they are in could in all honesty finish top ten this season. So you reckon they need to Spend 50m to stay were they are or improve a place or 2? Utter rubbish. 50m should take them top6 or it was money poorly spent!

Nonsense Newcastle are 12th in the league, do you really think they need 50m to move up 2 places? Ridiculous.
