How far can Ranieri take Juventus?

So, Tinkerman is now given license by the Italians to tinker some more, this time with the Old Lady.
He’s an interesting choice, having saved Parma from relegation although considering that Deschamps had left and that Juventus aren’t playing in the Champions League, it’s doubtful if another high-profile manager would have been available to take on the job.
The big question is - how far can Ranieri take Juventus?
Part of it depends on the funds allocated to him by the Juventus management, but in a league where Roma, Inter and Milan are the only serious rivals for the top spot, Ranieri’s first job will be to secure Champions League football. Failure to do that will be disastrous.
So, what do you guys think? Can Ranieri take Juventus to the Champions League next season?
And will Juventus will be able to attract the type of players necessary to help them win the Serie A again?

Juve must be strengthen with a few players I would like see them play in an 4-4-2
GK Buffon
LB Giorgio Chiellini(he also can play CD but i loved him as back)
CD Grygera( i´m confident he will so good)
CD Kovac/Boumsong (Barzagli would be wonderfull but that is a rumor,if Raniere has guts he lets Criscito play)
RB Balzaretti
LM Marchionni(when he played he was good just give him confidence and he will be better then camoranesi)
CM Matteo Paro (There are many names circulating for this position I hope Sissoko because we need a player like him.)
CM Nedved(he love to play more in an mid field role let him play CM and 2008-2009 find an other AM)
RM Many people think that I´m crazy for not putting Camoranesi in my starting 11 but after he declarde he wanted to leave juve is only see the bad things he do therefore i hope they attract Quaresma(Amazing) or Malouda but they need a RM or another option is that salihamidic as RB and balzaretti a line forward.
CF Del piero(he´s good for another 2-4 years.)
CF Palladino(give him a chanche please keep him don´t let him go to Man Utd sell Trezegeut so juve has extra funds.
out going Transfers:Nicola Legrottaglie,Giuliano Giannichedda,Mauro German Camoranesi,Valeri Bojinov(back to viola),David Trezeguet,Marcelo Zalayeta
Incoming: Barzagli,Malouda(or Quaresma),Sissoko,Criscito,Salihamidic,Grygera and the rest off the squad you fill up with players as Paolo De Ceglie,Marchisio Claudio,Giovinco
He will finish top 4 next season, probably in 3rd or 4th spot. The club will make much money available 40m+ is almost a guarantee. How much choice Ranieri has in who Juve signs i dont think he will pick most of the players juve sign. One big question is considering Lampards failure to sign anew chelsea contract, could Ranieri the man who took Lamps to Chelsea take him to turin also?
With Buffon in goal, anything is possible. Juve needs a complete revamping. It’ll be interesting how they’ll do it. Honestly, I dont think they’ll win the league next season, but a top four finish will is a realistic bet…………..
they wont win the league next yr fr sure. they ll face competition for the champions league places frm Roma, Fiorentina, Lazio…with IMO Inter, AC assured of the other 2 places. I dont think they can attract the Henrys and Eto’os this year but the Iaquintas and Amauris they sure can…and that wont be enough for them to win the league.
the team that I´ve put on paper with also a heinze can be verry competetive the Championship is maybe too much but Champions League football is the objective.
I have read that they have a budget of 100milj euro´s
15 Barzagli
20 Malouda or(25 Quaresma)
20 Sissoko
and they still have 45 milj for a extra striker
Also seems like a clear sign to me that Capello may very well be staying at Real Madrid another season.
What’s that about Palladino going to Utd?
WHAT HAPPENED TO DESCHAMPS?
I think this is totally disgusting. Last year all of Juventus (fans and management) bitched about all the players leaving the club for “greener pastures”. Deschamps took the job when even their coach deserted them. He did a brilliant job of it as well. Now that they’re back in Serie A, they get rid of him… how pathetic? Where’s the loyalty?
And, please don’t tell me he quit of his own accord… he begged them to take him, why would he resign freely after achieving the first goal of his masterplan.
I hope Juventus get caught match-fixing again and get demoted … all the way to hell.
I wonder if ranieri is the best man for the job…only time will tell. Objective is champions league and players need are huntelar, malouda, barzagli, sissoko. I hope he is given the support and finances to achieve this objective. Having said that, i urge all juventinos to rally round the new coach and give him maximum support for the sake of the club. I think sacking DD was a mistake and i hope we dont pay for it.
Juve will always attract the players. They are JUVE. I doubt though Rainieri will do much for them. For me he gambles a bit too much with his tactics.
i think deschamp was and allways be part of juve………..he gave all to the club, but the bosses semmed to think diferrent, well i hope the team will do the best and for alex………he is the real hero the inspirator and true leader for the old lady.see them fight in 2007/2008
OK. I think that Juve is gratefull that Deschaps gave all the best for them. But I think that he didn’t have the authority to lead Juve in Serie A.
It was more than sure from the begining of the season 2006/2007 that Juve will secure Serie B title, whoever was manager would do that.
i think raineri is okay 4 juve, but one thing is this, i found it embarrassing with some of the comments saying juve won’t win the seri A,i am it saying poit blank, juve will either win the league or placed second on the table because that name “juve” will fight 4 himself forget about the previous astrocities the club might have encountered.
I stopped watching football{all leagues in the world} the day Juventus was relegated. I was however following everything about Juventus in the internet. Deschamps as a couch couraged me a lot. Now he’s gone, I’m afraid Ranieri cannot be the success Juventus has always been.
i think juventus hasn’t good forwards del piero ana trezguet became old i think they have to buy some good forwards like villa or eto and those who say sissoko are stupid i think maxi rodrgues the argentine maddle palyer
huntelar is not the forward which juventus need him
Ranieri can be a good coach under the watchful eye of the entire management team and supporters of Juve. For this season, perhaps he can help Juve get the second position after Inter, but this can only happen if he keeps using all the big four of Juve: Del Piero, Camoranessi, Nedved and Buffon. Palladinho is our next Del Piero, he should not forget him.
How far? Well, Ranieri took them all the way to the Quarterfinals of Coppa Italia. This was a big disappointment. Juventus should have beaten Inter and win the Coppa Italia after all they are not having any international competition as compared to Inter, Roma, and Milan.
Ranieri disappointed us for failling to win the Copa Italia. We do not have too much in our hands like Inter,Roma and AC Milan. However the coming of Momo Sissoko is a big boost for Juve. He’s the kind of destroyer or defencive midfielder Juve need to get the second spot behind Inter in the Serie A.
