Heather Mitts started playing football (soccer) in highschool for St Ursula Academy in her hometown. She went to University of Florida and started playing for them and became an All-American and they won the national title in 1998.

After her university life was over, she joined the Philadelphia Charge (member Women’s United Soccer Association). She also won an Olympic gold medal with United States in 2004. She has been voted the Hottest Female Athlete by the users of ESPN.com. She has been working as a sideline reporter for ESPN2 and Major League Soccer coverage for ABC.
She missed out on the Women’s World Cup 2007 due to an injury but she was one of the 18 women footballers in the US 2008 Olympics.

Heather has dated the baseballer Pat Burell in 2001-02, the American-football quarterback AJ Feeley in 2002-07 and she has also dated a tennis player James Blake. Mitts is dating Feeley again.
