Give him a chance, that’s what I say. You never know he could be the spark West Ham need.

The fact he’s played for Chelsea doesn’t really matter, he’s a Premeiership legend and I think some of the reasons above for his arrival are good ones.

David Platt? gimme a break. Donnadoni? Did you watch Italy during the Euros? Hardly scintillating. Allardyce hahahahahahahahahaha! Zico ? when did he last play in the prem? Collins? Didn’t know he was in management. The list goes on?? what???
Would have been happy with Laudrup or Mancini and that’s yer lot. At least we are taking the risk for once instead of the usual safe / obvious choice. Are you sure you like the Hammers?

I’m a hammers fan and this appointment certainly doesn’t sit well with me to be honest.

There were other much more qualified men out there that could have taken the helm but the board, who have no footie experience and the DOF, Nani doesn’t either, he’s never played football as a pro or ever managed a team. Nani was the boards first mistake and Zola is their second. One we could maybe have had a chance with but not two. I fear we are doomed.

What a crock of rubbish, West Ham didn’t pick him because of his name, he wasn’t even there only choice. You say there isn’t any evidence he is good…there is a flip side to that coin aswell that states there isn’t a shred of evidence that he isn’t
