Guerrero is a man to watch for Hamburg. He literally walked into the penalty area against Galatasaray and hammered in, not one, but two goals to level on the aggregate and essentially win the tie for Hamburg on the away goals rule (although technically Olic got the third and winning goal). But he’s (Guerrero) is a dangerous hit man and while I fault the shoddy Galatasaray defending (if we can consider Harry Kewell being played as a defender defending), he’s another Hamburg man to watch. I didn’t notice anything special about this Hamburg side but how they handled being 2-0 down in an intimidating stadium like Ali Sami Yen was impressive (although the joke is that these days, against GS and Turkiye, anyone can win at Ali Sami Yen).

when I read that crap about the sheik wanting the superstars I might have known you were a Ragany reputable commentator would have known thay were the ravings of the self-promoting suliman al-khalifa(?) who merelyfronted the bid. fortunately I don’t expect much from this site since that is generally what I get -not much.I think all neutrals and most City fan recognise this is a big test entirely dependant on who plays on the day. the big benefit to City is thatthe leg in hamburg is played first, probably a cagy game leading to amore open seond leg
