Skillz, I did watch the game.

Sid, it might have been a sort of a bodycheck, but both players had their eyes on the ball, and it was not that harsh of a challenge anyway, so Clattenburg made the right decision in my eyes, though I suppose I would not have been complaining had he given the penalty either.

Ahmed, at least Bennet is consistent. Others are very hypocritical. He follows the book the best he can and he is a bit wasy on the cards, but at least he is always fair to both teams.

The decision on Kalou was wrong. In the same way that if a player is "accidentally" tripped in the area it's a penalty, Kalou got taken out when following the ball. Toure went right through him. Clattenburg also should've booked Eboue for running 50 yards to complain about a foul by Fabregas on Ballack (Wenger started a tirade of his own from the dugout, but there was no dispute about the foul).

Don't like Bennett that much, tbh, but he didn't do that bad overall.

You must have not watched the United vs Liverpool game. Because it was clear to those that watched it, that Mascherano was sent off, not because of that second incident, but because of his persistent dissent to both the linesmen and the referee. In fact you can clearly see Mascherano tell the ref to "F*** Off!!!" several times before he got sent off. He was too wound up, and his own stupidity will ensure he receives at least a 3 game suspension once the FA deal with him.
