Goal.com are very confused…

Goal.com took great pride in its ‘exclusive‘ with Gigi Buffon’s agent which effectively trashed the British tabloid Daily Mail (deserved, of course).

This is the same Goal.com that picks up news from these tabloids and spins it as it’s own transfer stories, the same Goal.com that publishes news stories without considering whether they are authentic or not and most importantly, goes where no self-respecting football publisher has gone before.

Yes, we like to put down our competition from time to time (the Guardian does it really subtly but they’re not above the filth themselves) to make ourselves look better, but the people at Goal seem confused.

On one hand (no pun intended) they refuse to laugh at the obvious jokes considering themselves as a ‘serious’ publication and on the other hand they report BS stories and get readers all worked up.

Pick a side guys.
