Schmeichel, Cantona & even Roy Keane didnt perform at the highest level as long as those two have. Giggs has been a virtual ever present for nearly 17 years, and Scholes adapted to a new position and, for me, is the best English footballer of his generation. I think Mark Hughes & Beckham deserve a mention as well. For professionalism and consistency, few can argue with Giggs & Scholes.
