Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny may find that his red card against Bayern Munich was only the start of his problems, after the Polish international was caught making a rude hand gesture as he made his way off the pitch during Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat at the Emirates.

The 23-year-old had just received his marching orders for bringing down Bayern winger Arjen Robben when he made the above remark.

Governing body UEFA could decide to take retrospective action, rubbing further salt into the wound for Szczesny, who will miss the second leg in the Allianz Arena regardless.

It was Arsenal’s 100th red card under Arsene Wenger, and it was one of the most disastrous for the Gunners, with current champions Bayern now sitting pretty on a two goal lead ahead of the second leg in Germany.

  1. he behaved pretty badly not as professional player but all in all the referee harsh decision was the source of all evil, as he did not do the same against Boateng when he fault Ozil as the last man too, i think he deserved red card too, stupid referee again destroy the test of the game without put on consideration of the huge entrance fees paid by both fun so as to see the real football from both well equipped squads, and not one sided played type of game, next time uefa should give seminars to hif staffs as on how to be impartial and to balance the game rather destroying it, all in all again im sorry for my goal keeper.

  2. Wenger y nt podoski or giroud? Sanogo dos’ nt knw were de post is. As 4 özil i dnt knw wt 2 say, wt a disgrace.

  3. I think the ref is too harsh for that red card because from all indication uefa are the big problems of premier league trying to frustrate us. Take a look of mancity game how it ended and now the arsenal match also. Uefa hates best league in the world that is why they are paying us this way. They want to kill the passion of the game. Up GUNNERS FOR REAL.

  4. I don’t know the reason why Arsenal deserve this kind of treatment from UEFA and his staff, they always destroy our chances of beating their so call untouchable team.My message to all Gunners fans let us keep the faith and give Metsu Ozil time to prove his worthy and also Arsene should buy us the quality we need in various department.
