Ahmed – For someone who’s not a Chelsea fan your article shows good insight, Gallas has been whinging each and every season. Yes, he is a good player, just not as good as he thinks he is.

Gallas DOES have the respect of the Chelsea fans. Most recognise that it is the Terry/Gallas PARTNERSHIP that keeps our defence so watertight. Unfortunately, it is John Terry and Frank Lampard that keep being offered new contracts while Gallas is left out in the cold.
Interesting to note that pre-printed Ballack No. 13 shirt was available for ordering last week (before any of this blew up) before being hastily withdrawn after it was pointed out this was Gallas’s squad number.
Chelsea management – remember that respect is a two way street.

Rubbish

Gallas may be bigheaded but you can’t say that when Mourinho’s in the frame. Gallas hears Mourinho spout off that those who dont want to be there can go, but that doesn’t apply to certain players

Galls wishes to change his place of employment but chelsea prevent him from going, their money allows them to behave in this 2 faced manner because they know they can afford to let Gallas rot in the reserves whereas no other club can take such action

yet another example of Chelsea’s hypocrisy. If he wants to go, let him go, it’s not like they dont have money to buy someone else. If it were me I’d tell Chelsea not to trust me if they play me as I may ‘acidentally’ give a way a goal or two’ and then take a year holiday and move for mega bucks on a freebie at the end of the season

Good to see the more principled footballers wanting to move away though
