how on earth can anyone pick govou and anelka ahead of trezequet, on current form? i just don’t get it, the french coach is an absolute disgrace. i am sure whateva is the outcome of this match or the entire tournament 4 the french he’s gonna be sacked.

Croatia were 10/1 I think, so really it’s a better price for me. It’s just a bet after all but I think they might come good, although I know a few people are concerned about the defence.

Â£10 on Italy? I would have put Â£10 on Croatia or Romania if you’re thinking about outsiders. I’m Italian but I don’t dare to hope.

Need Italy to win this one, and the next 3. I got 19.5/1 on Betfair and stuck on a tenner, I know they’ve struggled so far but it’s a terrific price for the current world champs.

If they can just get a confidence boosting win, well they’re f*cked if they dont of course, but if they do there’s only 3 matches to win to be tournament winners. France are 30/1 on the same site!
