In todays soccer you need depth on the bench and england have ZERO. And i doubt the oldies who form the england A team would have fared much better either, because i gurantee you brazil would have stepped up a few gears and dominated them also. Brazil are just too good for england, deal with it. Oh and lets not forget the players brazil were missing, Pato, Dinho, Luisao (their best defender), diego etc...so kid yourselves not england. He would be perfect. His name is michael essien. Every player on this list is at a CL playing club already so they not unknown. Bastos was a monster last season and he can play right wing as well. Melo is a freaking Juventus and they paid top money. Saturday was no measure as it was practically an England B team. I just don't fancy them for the WC although they'll undoubtedly be one of the favourites. Brazil will always be big in international football. With a population of 250 million and football dominating the sporting psyche it's a given....just as the high population nations in Europe dominate (but not like Brazil who have 4 or 5 times their population) and countries like the US are only emerging as football is way down the pecking order in terms of popularity.
