There is a lack of bite in the arsenal team. That is exactly what zanetti would provide.Yeah, i know he's 35 but that's all the most advantageous because
1)He is still world class, one of the best DM's out there.
2)He still has more than enough energy to do the job 4 arsenal
3)He brings with him bags of experience, determination and a winning mentality that would enormously help arsenal's youngsters
    4)He would'nt be that expensive
5)If for example wenger would bring in a younger DM,than song, diaby or denilson might feel that they have no future at the club, something they won't feel with zanetti as zanetti is reaching the end of his career
6)His versatility would also really help the arsenal team
    Zanetti tackling evra

    Hes got thighs of steel!

    He will never leave Inter!!!
Just like how Totti and Piero wont leave their team. Theses players are legends and Captains and they are what their clubs stand for.

besides, Arsenal need experience, but not grandpa's, they need, mahamadou diarra, Mertesacker, upson, and villa. They should sell adebayor to barca/milan for 20-25m, and i would throw bendtner in for the villa deal for a loan. i would sell diaby, silvestre, and maybe gallas if he starts to bitch again

I have to disagree with you there brazi boii.I think if the almost impossible happens and zanetti does come to arsenal,it would be a massive signing.Zanetti still has at least 2 yrs of playing at the top level,he still has loads of energy and as i said is still one of the best DM's out there today. What is even more priceless is his bundles of experience and his winning mentality.
The problem with arsenal is they don't have a talisman,some1 like patrick veira or theiry henry. In the second leg against United, arsenal started of brighter but once they conceeded it just knocked the wind out of them. What they need is a player who can motivate and inspire them to keep fighting, because at the moment, the abundance of skill is coupled with a lack of character
