I'm half american, and I have a mild interest in the MLS, and was wondering if anyone has heard any fresh rumors about players heading to America? I know about the Henry rumors about Seattle from before, but anyone know of anything recently?

I've been to plenty of MLS games, and it definetely could use some more star power.
I don't know if MLS can afford someone like Henry. Beckham went to LA which has more money than God so that's understandable. Plus his wife really wanted to move there. The only way I see someone like Henry coming to the states is if he starts to suck soo bad that none of the big European clubs want him.. unlikely.
Henry would come because he repeatedly has said he would love to play and live in America. book it, next summer he will be playing for The New York Red Bulls. You can bet on it.
Additionally, Luis Figo is a possibility for next summer. Nothing big happening immediately but next summer, I think we'll see henry and figo, possibly some others

more immediately, CCglend6, I believe Nate Jaqua is going to go to Houston. Pat Noonan might go back to either New England or Columbus. Pablo Mastroeni is going to go to Europe after the season ends. Off the top of my head, that's what is going on right now.
Toronto fc is looking to bring in a forward. They have not used their "beckham rule" allocation yet and were trying to snag del piero last year.. a bit ambitious but they are defo out there recruiting.
I heard former Man City player Dickov could join Toronto?
yeah, TFC wants a forward and is being linked to every aging english, welsh and scottish forward there is.
what about Ronaldinho to LA? I think no top-club in Europe needs him in today's physical fit.. And I read about his possible going to MLS about half a month ago on transfermarketweb.com
anything new here? I'm getting frustrated with absolutely no movement in this department. MLS really needs to work on itself, its got plenty of money to spend, especially a team like Toronto. I heard they were looking at Nuno Gomes but the deal fell through

I think the big thing that MLS is really having trouble with is the fact that they should bring in more European and South American-based managers, who will have players who want to play for them in the States too. That way, its not about the money, its about playing for a manager who has/was retired previously who they used to play for. Can you imagine the players wanting to join a SAF-led NY squad? *mouth-water*
