Lol really? Personally he would be lucky to get in the team if I had my way, with the way he has been playing recently, Terry or Ferdinand for me.

Heskey!?!? You must be having a laugh! Hehe!

How about Rooney? You rarely see someone with more character and desire that that little man and that is just what England need at the moment. At least that is how I see the English national team through my red-tinted lenses.

    Cue the Nani jokes...

Terry will do it. Vice captains Stevie G, Lamps.

XerxeS, aren't they both injured? Methinks that the armband should be given to David James

    Titus Bramble?!?! Wtf man!

I think John Terry is the best choice and he is doing well with it for England, But the Vice-Captaincy should go to somebody like Wayne Rooney.

Looking at the performance of England players,I think is either John Terry or Rio Ferdinand is the suitable choice for captain while Steven Gerrard or Wayne Rooney can be vice-captain.

mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

Terry or ferdinand they have been are best players, but i would have liked beckham to be captain for his 100 game.
