Bresciano looks good but Tim Cahill has to get the "honour"

Its Cahill or Lucas Neill(solely on the basis of his time with blackburn, not as a hammer).....

Cahill has to be up there. So does Kewell. I don't even know Lazaridis. Hamburg, your list is wrong.

yess, lazaridis was a defender, who sometimes played DM. he played for West Ham and Birmingham, before returning for Perth Glory. He was a good player, and i think Hamburg's list is based around something differently to us. However i do not belive that Aloisi was a good EPL player, he played in the Serie A way better

well you've got look at it as a whole(is your choice made purely on the time the player played in the Prem? usually, if they got to play for a top notch club, it means he is the best right?), I mean I did watch Lazaridis and Kewell when they were playing in the Prem.

Cahill and Kewll will be just otuside my list.

Easily. Kewell was the Cristiano Ronaldo of the league. Now Cahill seems to be delivering while not having the talent, but hes just always there at the right time.

For pure talent, it has to be Harry Kewell hands-down! But he's a mercenary whore who only worked at full capacity in contract seasons. Tim Cahill may not have the bag of tricks, but he's not a bluffer or a slacker like Kewell. He's been willing to play in central midfield, on the wing and as an auxiliary striker (very well, I might add) and has always used his body as a battering ram. My Uncle Nob says not to forget Johnny Warren and Joe Marston, but he's as old as dirt.

Come on Bobotonto, you're being a bit harsh on Kewell. He gave Leeds great service before he moved to Anfield. All his problems came down to his numerous injuries and possibly lack of proper treatment at Liverpool. In answer to your question, I regard Kewell as the most talented, Cahill the most valuable team player, Schwarzer the most consistent Aussie in the Premier League and Craig Johnston the most decorated.

No doubt about his talent, mate. Rafa the tapas waiter said on Republica Deportivo, my favorite Spanish language sports program, that Kewell was injured so much that he wouldn't play with a hangnail. "Se duerme sobre sus laureles" or 'he dreams of what he did in the past.' At any rate, the two of them fell out for good when Kewell flew home from Scouseland to play for Oz against Singapore and, on other occasions, when he flew home to watch Canterbury Bulldogs games. When he's not injured, he still seems to play great for Galatasaray. No doubt about his talent, although, having moved to Galatasaray, I doubt that he's popular in Leeds these days.

Lazaridis wasn't really a great performer in the Premier League. He was decent, I guess, but he wasn't one of the best. He was also a left-winger, and left-back.. not an out and out defender....

Bresciano.. wow.. this reminded me of the time when he signed, but then Parma blocked the move because they wanted Bresciano to stay in Italy, so sold him to Palermo instead.. fuckin' idiots.

Wasn't watching football when Slater was playing, as I was like 4 or 5 at the time...

Gotta go to Kewell though. He was magical at Leeds, and had some top moments at Liverpool.
