    Current Best Captain: Steven Gerrard...what a big *** !!! But even I cant deny the guy's a born leader...whether it's leading by example in diving in a champions league final :mrgreen: or scoring goals for his club whose importance can't be explained.

    is guardado a leader on the pitch though?i mean hes very good,but can he be a leader?

    You don't have to know lots of chords to play songs that matter

    guardado is sorta of a leader he pushes the team forward but he is a little quiet

    I know he's not a football player but has anyone here heard of Tana Umaga? captained the All Blacks, now that guy was a leader of epic proportions, absolute god. I don't think I have ever seen any sportsperson throughout the world who commanded so much respect from not only his players but the opposition aswell.

    As for football captains I reckon Beckenbauer, Gerrard and Ballack are the top for me.
