So Adebayor has been linked to both Barca and Milan (AC). Where do you think he'd make more of an impact and why? My feeling is that he'd do much better at Barcelona. I think the italian game would stifle him.

I don' think it is about where he goes - he might do better at Barcelona - it is about where he is played. I think he would do a much better job as a player in the hole rather than as a striker. His finishing is quite atrocious at times.

    Cue the Nani jokes...

Eh, it depends really. Barcelona might be alright, depending on who they can get rid of, because he might be stuck on the bench otherwise. I like Barca over Milan

What? I didn't foul him, I just nudged him a bit

When Arsenal says they don't want to sell they won't sell even if Barcelona or AC Milan decide to cut off & sell themselves in pieces. As for, where he would shine, well he just had 1 good season, lets see what happens next season.

He would shine more at Chelsea.

He don't deserve to be Chelsea player because of many strikers on the team...other teams like AC Milan or FC Barcelona maybe suitable for him...

mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

Adebayor is a porn star with no money shot. If playing streakily well for two-thirds of a season makes him worth 32M quid than Crouch IS a bargain at 15M! Somebody mentioned him playing 'in the hole', which is pretty hilarious because the old in-and-out takes skilzzz.

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

    Strikers at Barca:

    Gudjhonsen
    Ronaldinho
    Eto'o
    Henry
    Messi
    Krkic

    Strikers at Milan:

    Pato
    Inzaghi
    Aubameyang
    Ronaldo

    Strikers at Cheslea:

    Drogba
    Anelka
    Kalou
    (Shevchenko doesn't count)

Ummm...yeah, he would fit at Chelsea. Of ocurse, I say that about everyone.

Why doesn't Shevchenko count? And last time I checked Claudio Pizarro was still there.

Yeah I think at some point you have to try and recoup some of the investment in Schevchenko. Especially if Drogba leaves for one of the Milans. Personally, I don't see why he would want to leave Arsenal. They're in the EPL, playing in the Champions League, have a good albeit, not very deep squad, and he's always in the side. Why leave?

well with his latest demands i think he's going cause Arenal don't let their players bully them about money. [in case you didn't hear he wants 4 times what he's getting now to stay]
So i honestly feel Barca is the best place fohim even tho in recent reports Milan has claimed the deal is 80 percent done.

and yet you count Anelka - the same player who refused to take a penalty, or Drogba, who wants out, or even Kalou, who's just a kid.

At this rate Chelsea don't have any strikers!

Reports saying he wants 120,000 per week is more than bullshit. Its retarded. Remember when reports came out saying he wanted 80,000 per week & he rubbished them?

reports are rubbish, but he wants more money, otherwise he'd have quashed all the spec a LONG time ago.

That's the only thing you have and that is the problem! Buying all the great players in the world isn't gonna bring trophies, putting them in suitbable positions and getting the best out of them does!

Shevchenko, Pizzaro, Kalou, Anelka, Drogba! And can only use 2 since they usually play a 4-4-2. Sometimes 3 but still not enough.

As for Ade, I believe a £25m bid from Barca has been accepted given Wenger finds a suitable replacement. So, he's off. But I don't think he'll get enough chances there next season with Henry, Messi, Gudjohnsen and Eto'o still playing. But believe it, everyone who goes away from the EPL goes for the money

Very true but they actually become the world class players they are in the EPL before moving on and wasting their lives for money! :)

I remember that in FIFA 08, since there were just way too many strikers at Barca, I had to create a 3-2-5 formation. Either way, Barcelona just has way too many strikers (Dinho counts, and Milan DID have Gilardino). Of course, I do want everyone to come to Chelsea and Liverpool, so I am slightly biased...

    Adebayor is staying. :)

So much for the bullshit that has been going around for the past few weeks. Here are some quotes from the article:

"When I was young I had a dream to be a good footballer and play for a big team," said Adebayor, who was in Vienna with his sponsors.

"I was born in Togo so I never cared about playing for money, my happiness was to play to enjoy myself. That's what I've been doing until now.

"You can see people changing clubs because of money, because they want a change of atmosphere or to get their names in the big leagues. I just play football to enjoy myself. I play because I love it."

I wish you guys would all just look at this whole thing as unbiased as possible. ManU fans all acting like Arsenal and Chelsea suck, and have no good players and just money blah blah. You think buying any good youngster is not kinda cheating too? Meanwhile, Chelsea fans, not everyone is cut out for Chelsea football but you do have money.

For once, just put supporting one team or whatever aside, just once. I mean, everytime i see an avatar with a Man U logo or a Chelsea logo, all I see is biased arguing about club problems and who sucks and who has the better starting 11 or whatever. Obviously everyone has their clubs they support, but just for a minute step back and be realistic about things. Not what you WANT to happen, but what YOU THINK will happen.

Alright. Then I would say Milan, because they have fewer good strikers and he could have more first-team apps. I think he will go to Barca, but he won't shine there. Uh-uh.
