Ferguson would rather let Ronaldo rot in the reserves than let him leave or he will sell him to another club (Inter, AC, Barca, etc.). Remember Gabby Henize? Fergie let him go to Real for less than what Liverpool was offering.

Pedro Trapote is quoted as saying that there is a secret agreement for Ronaldo to transfer in the summer of 2009..
Calderon has denied it..(so have Man United)
Who is telling the truth.? Why should Trapote lie? If he did will Real Madrid remove him from the board for 1..lying (or is it acceptable to lie?) 2.. bringing the club's name into disrepute.. again ..
I fail to understand why Real Madrid would want to pay a world record fee for Ronaldo..he would doubtless underperform ..as so many other expensive players who are not developed under the short term coach system the club favours
