agree with duff, get the away goal back to OT.

    Olympique Lyonnais 1 - 2 Barcelona
    Inter 1 - 1 Manchester United
    Arsenal 2 - 1 A.S. Roma
    A. Madrid 2 - 0 FC Porto
    Real Madrid 2 - 1 Liverpool
    Chelsea 2 - 1 Juventus
    Villarreal 2 - 0 Panathinaikos FC
Sporting CP 1 - 2 FC Bayern München

you really think Poo is going to score that much against Real? but i wont put Poo off so easily, i'll let them take an away goal.

i think juande might be regretting leaving out klaas of the euro squad,3 goals in 2 games now,hes taking his chance in the team with both hands

and i can see pana causing a shock against el submarino amarilla, because the home team are all over the shop at the moment

but do predict sensibly and be more realistic, i know you cant bet, but take it as something valuable is on the line.

I'm pessimistic about Inter. I think we'll lose 1 or 2 nil. Hopefully we can grab a goal though...

i hope Chelsea wins just for the sake of shutting up all those annoying juve fans.. x0

Robben will tear apart the defence on either side...

Bayern will win of course, no defense for sporting..

totti will be too slow to deal with Arsenal, Julio Baptista will be key for Roma,

the Lyon backline is poor at the moment so expect messi to turn over Gorsso like a pancake =]

Man U will prob lose, or tie this match since Vidic is suspened, Rio will have his hands full with Adriano, but both ibra and aDriano? it's going to be too much work for evans

Villareal will win the battle will be fought in the midfield of course =]

Atletico will probably win they have a slightly better overall squad

    what do you think?

    1) Lyon beat Barcelona??? that'll be the day  Barca will take out their frustrations at their recent slump by kicking Lyon's ass...if they don't I'll go without food for one whole day...there, I said it

    2) It's going to be a tight one between Chelsea and Juventus...very tight...in the end, i think Hiddink will help Chelsea squeak through

    3) Villareal will beat Pana...might be closer than you think cos pana topped inter in their table

    4) Bayern will get by Sporting without too much of a problem

    5) Atletico will make short work of Porto

    6) Hmmm...Real vs. Liverpool...a mouthwatering prospect...might be too close to call...this one might come down to penalties, but look for Real to finally pull through

    7) Roma over Arsenal...Arsenal's going nowhere fast this season and Roma's coming on strong...that incentive of having the final in Rome is mighty enticing

    8) The granddaddy of them all: Inter vs. Man utd.: This one's going to be a titanic struggle between two European giants, but in the end utd. will emerge triumphant.

Does anyone know what the seedings for the Quarters and Semis are like? If all's fair and above board, the final should be between Barcelona and Utd. I'm practically salivating at the thought...I've already drooled at the thought of Inter Vs. Utd :D

Ibra's Abracadabra will help Barca win their second Treble, and Eto'o will revitalize Inter Milan!!

??? I thought everyone knew I was a barca man...I mentioned that in a post last year...Inter's my second fave...I'm also an Eto'o fan in case you didn't know :-)

How cool would it be to see barca vs. Inter or barca vs. Utd in the final? Hmmm...Spain vs. Italy or Spain vs. England...which one would be more entertaining?

Yes that WAS me...I do like free-flowing football, but I also have an allegiance to certain clubs...have always liked Barca, Inter and Man utd

    Have always HATED AC Milan

Hmmm...wonder where Eto'o would go...he's kinda prima donna so I think only City can afford his wage demands...he'd get them too

RIDICULOUS that they can't kiss and make up (the barca board and Eto'o)...he's the top scorer and you'd think that'd count for something...he's the most consistent scorer in la liga, even more so than Villa...does it all boil down to Spanish racism? food for thought

i think he wants to go back to mallorca.hes not happy with pep at the moment,he went straight over to him in the betis game after his 2nd goal and started shouting "i told you so" because of some disagreement.the guy needs to be loved, and not just when he is fit.he doesnt think barca really appreciate him,and actually would stay for another year so barca will get no transfer fee for him.sneaky :P

Mourinho vs. Fergie...it's been all "The Special One" so far...interesting to see how this plays out

Rumors are flying around that The Special one will take over Fergie after he retires...now that would be MAJOR news...Mourinho has the Midas touch so he'd probably continue Utd's winning ways
