Two new changes have been proposed by Platini's Uefa:

The first really isn't new, its the 6 + 5 rule, which would mean that clubs would be forced to play 6 domestic players in every game.

The 2nd is a rule that would allow refs to stop a game for 10 minutes or even abandon it if racist chants are being made by the fans

so what you make of these? more Platini rubbish or a good idea?

I agree, there is absolutely no place on a football pitch for racism, In fact i think that not only should the match be abandoned that team should automatically lose the match, and get forced to play they're next game behind closed doors.

They are both rubbish, players clearly are able to deal with it & it is usually a minority. I agree to the match bein abandoned if its like the openly racist part of spain that persistantly doin it. Surveillence should be increased inside stadiums & the culprets should be banned for life!

I agree, Platini has always had it out for the prem teams. And he seems to have a real bone to pick with Wenger

The funny thing is platini doesn't realise it will affect all european teams Madrid for example their best XI is:
      Casillas(Spain)
      Ramos(Spain)
      Pepe(Portugal)
      Cannavaro(Italy)
      Marcelo(Brazil)
      Van Der Vaart(Holland)
      Diarra(France)
      Sneidjer(Holland)
      Robben(Holland)
      Raul(Spain)
      Huntelaar/Van Nistelrooy(Holland)

He's well aware!!! He does not care. He is trying enable the minor and less strong leagues to compete with the top 3. I am totally opposed to the ruling but I would like to see more home grown talent in our top teams. "The funny thing is" if the rule gets any proper support it will most likely succeed in its goals, for example, the Dutch, French and German leagues would be far stronger if they could keep hold of their best players.

"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game."
