Whats wrong with Spurs selling off they're players and then buying them all back not more than a year down the road for jacked up prices. So whats Arry (or Daniel Levy) thinking

Haha, I mean, clearly it was the previous regime's moves that sunk Spurs, so now Harry and co are just trying to regain top form. Clearly desperation has set in. As it should if one is in their situation.
What? I didn't foul him, I just nudged him a bit -

i dont know. they have bought some good players abrought back the players that funded those moves. keane and pav will be good. i dont kno what is up with chimbonda, and i dont think defoe should start

Well, honestly, they're buying back players that they wish had never left, that usually means they are trying to reverse decisions made by the front office.

they did a great job of making themselves look like idiots alright

but think about it Defoe left because he was 3rd choice behind Berba and Keane now he comes back and he's still 3rd choice behind Pav and Keane.
Sure the previous regime messed up, but buy new better players
-

I think Defoe is better than Pav.

Okay so it might have been a good move for the club, they'll still get relegated though
But what about the players: I dont think it was the smart thing for Keane to do he should have stuck it out with Liverpool he could have had somthing special with Torres if it had time to gel
-
Posted 9 months ago #
benitez never intended for keane to have time to gel with torres.he prefers his cautious formation, and keane was not his signing,he was thrown on him.as a result,he treated him like shit
-
Posted 9 months ago #
Irrespective of whether he's your signing or Bob Joe's signing Keane is still a good player and at the very least a quality backup for Torres
-
Posted 9 months ago #
hey,i will always say robbie is a good player, but having no backing from the manager is never going to work.it was never destined to happen for him at liverpool
-

fair enough, but what about defoe swapping one relegation scrap for another. I mean at least at Pompey he was guaranteed a start
-

What about Darren Bent?
mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!

manutdfan, stick to players that returned to spurs for the time being
ghostwriter,im as baffled as anybody as to why defoe and chimbonda moved.money is all i can think of,because both arent guaranteed to start week in week out.maybe the london factor too,but moving to another relegation threatened club isnt the most logical move

but now Spurs have 4 strikers...will they use rotation system?
-
Posted 9 months ago #
pav is great and i mean fabulous as a cup player he just needs the rrest of te year to make han prem form
-
Posted 9 months ago #
5 strikers, although defoe is out for around 10 weeks now.but obviously they are going to rotate, its a bit late to flog one of em
-

hmmmm...the starting partnership should be:
Pavlyuchenko - Keane? -

Fraizer Campell is better than all the spurs strikers fergie should have recalled him & loaned him to another team like west brom!
-

Azz, I agree. I think that they'll start Keane and Pav, and Keane definitely needed to move back. I would hate to be in getting new transfers for Liverpool behind Rafa's back, he'll never play them.
It was better for Robbie's career to move back, he never would have gotten the chances for 'Pool

100% agree with u azz,its not going to do the boy any good sitting on the bench,he could do that at united,he'd have been a great but for any team in the lower half.
as for keane,i truly believe he couldnt handle the pressure at a massive club like pool so he ran off home to white hart lane(or at least he thinks its home)

Hull wanted him at the start of the season as he helped them into the premier league & they asked again in january but they had to settle for manucho who isn't good enough for united. Fraizer Campell is like a young Eto'o i am thinking both in looks & style of play. United do have a lot of striking options maybe tevez will not be signed. Rooney, Berba, Campell, Wellbeck, Macheda even Nani, Petrucci & Ronaldo can play as strikers.

christ if nani is ever played up front we will be rightly fucked

hes bad enough on the wings, imagine him against somebody that takes no shit like chris samba.a disaster waiting to happen
-
Posted 9 months ago #
Samba will get red carded when Nani wrong foots him & gets tripped
-
Posted 9 months ago #
id still rather have tevez, rooney berba or welbeck up front,or even macheda.fuck it,id put scholes back up front before i would put nani there
-

hhahhaha. He is not that bad. Although he hold the ball too much and is kinda selfish. Scholes would do good at "the hole". But United have 2 of the best players in that position (Tevez and Rooney) The problem with Chelsea is that we have also have 2 good players for the hole,Anelka and Kalou, but out Striker DD is kinda loosing it with us. As u mentioned Gilardino would be great for a striker role. Alot of people say Fabiano can be good too, but he is getting old and he cant head the ball. Gila is the best option.
