The EPL is, in my opinion the best league. Purely because you can find skill, physical strength, pace, and nearlly every tactic of the modern game within the league.
The Serie A would be next I think, because if you look at the player's in that league, many of them are very underrated and have minimal viewing to fans over the world. Likes of Pato, Adriano, and many more are finding their feet and scoring important goals.
La Liga has slackened a tad this season I think with Barca thrashing nearlly everyone in sight. I think they are the best team in the world at the moment, but besides them no one is really trying to grab the title. But still a league of very high quality, and a Barca team who could take the world on a spin.
The German Bundesliga and Dutch Erevidse or how ever you spell it, are both okay leagues. However, I do think the Erevidse is underrated. Some player's coming out of that league are real class. Jason Culina (PSV) is a suberb talent and its a shame PSV couldn't hold onto him for next season. He can play practically anywhere on the field from right back to attacking midfield, with the central/attacking midfield being his preferred position. The fact he is only paid around 1.5m per season is sad for a player of his ability. He has gone to the A-League's new team Gold Coast United next season, where he will be paid the same, possibly better than PSV, and will be the marquee player of the team. The owner of the club has said he will give Culina that attacking incentive he has wanted, and that has obviously affected his move.
As for the UCL, I think the Arsenal v Roma tie will be very close, maybe a 2-1 or 1-0 win for Arsenal at home, then a 1-1 draw in Italy. I think Inter Milan will cause some problems for Man Utd, but in the end fall to red devils class. 1-1 at Milan and 2 or 3-0 at OT. I think Juventus might put Chelsea to the sword if the latter keeps up their current form. Chelsea might get a 1-0 or close win at home if they're lucky, but can't see them coming close to winning at Juve. Something like a 3-1 win for Juve at home. The Liverpool v Madrid game is a very fascinating one. Both in not great form, and could be one of those classic cup ties where both matches aren't won on skill, but pure determination and will to win.
But, wouldn't be suprised if all those games went the opposite way, because as we've seen with Roma, league form doesn't necesarily affect cup games at all.
