Ok, now that the winter transfers are signed and sealed, with some pretty big names going different directions, what do you all think was the best signing by a team? Which signing will be the best addition (short-term or long term) to a team? Also, conversly, what was the worst signing? Why

What? I didn't foul him, I just nudged him a bit

best signing-palacios to spurs,he will be the spark that spurs have desperately needed
worst signing-mido to wigan or quaresma to chelsea.mido because after a good start with all most of his clubs,he becomes either too fat or injured.quaresma because he has proven himself to be unable to handle the big leagues and the big clubs, not a good sign for a move to chelsea

I agree with the worst signings, especially Mido. Get rid of Palacios and bring in Mido, what a joke for Wigan

BEST SIGNING...EMILE HESKEY AT 3.5 MILL TO VILLA.....GENIUS.

WORST SIGNING...TAL BEN HAIM TO SUNDERLAND....ARE THE CATS INSANE?

    Sleeper surprises.....

Makukula to Bolton....this dude is sick, seen him in action and was a handful for Rio and Vidic on his debut.

King to Boro...he has what it takes to save them.

Finally the "Question Mark" signings...Could turn out to be a stroke of Genius as well as a real flop

Quaresma to Chelsea....talented but with a history of flops at big clubs.

Cudicini to Spurs.....really was a class act in his day but has been on the bench so long and is now so old you wonder what he will give over the stretch.

Giles Barnes to Fulham....loads of talent shown BUT always in the Championship....can he produce the goods like Bullard weekly?

You don't win a silver medal, you lose the gold!

the thing is Heskey, he is a second striker, and with Agbonlahor, Carew, Young and a croweded midfield, where is 'key going to play? mind you Villa plays a very fast game. Milner 'lahor Young all run their socks off. so how does he fit in?

u guys missed out Bullard to Hull. damn he is my best sign of transfer window. good price and u will know he will do reasonably well. Arshavin MAY not do well in the PL or even Gooners. too Russians at North London, hmm.

then there is De Jong, havent seen him, i have mixed feelings, should i wish the best or the worst?

    Bellamy at Citeh?

Robbie Keane back to White Hart Lane, straight to the first XI and Captaincy. hows that sound?

just another reason to dislike newcastle-lovenkrands

and hamburg, with all the games villa may have to play, heskey will prove to be a very astute signing

Given to City, is that a great signing?

    Young Agbonlahor
    Milner Barry Sidwell Petrov
    Young Laursen Davies Reo-Coker
    Friedel

so where does Heskey fit in? drop Sidwell or Petrov and move A.Young to midfield and pair 'lahor and Heskey? Carew is much better then Heskey.

carew is almost finished with all the injury problems he's got and cant overcome, heskey will be a great target man for young and gabby.

heskey and carew offer the same kinda thing.they give o neill a plan b.agbonlahor and young wont be able to terrorise all defences,so putting heskey or carew on gives the defenders another problem

exactly, like his debut goal.route 1 from the keeper up to heskey, knocks on for gabby, recieves ball back and scores,he offers the chance to play old fashioned rout 1 football and thats handy when uve got gabby's pace next to him.

I didn't realise given had joined city :S he is what they need Joe Hart is overrated. De Jong is like Kompany only stronger.

Hey might do well, he might not.

I think signing Huntelaar was smart, just not for the team that did. He's going to be great, but I doubt he'll be with Real long. The next Michael Owen signing for Real.

Already, which is an awful thing for him, as I said. Real's next Michael Owen signing, soon to be stuck on the bench.

surprise surprise, there are already stories floating around that huntelaar is disillusioned at real, has fallen out with ramos, and is desperate to leave-all of which have been denied by his agent.odds on him leaving in the summer?
