Many of us Liverpool fans seem to be calling for the signature of David Silva, hailing him as the player to complete the jigsaw. Torres has called for him to be signed, leading to many jumping on the bandwagon for his signature BUT has anyone honestly seen enough of him to be judged? In my humble opinion, from the performances I have seen a few Primera League games, Valencia's champions league games, and his performances for the national team, I honestly dont see enough to warrant a 30million pound signature price. In many of the games he seems to go missing, and he simply seems to be one of those small players who can dribble to an extent. If we do sign him however I hope to be proved wrong, but at the moment he is not the signing I am waiting for

this guy is real quality.when used right he can be very dangerous.id really like to see him at united, even if he will play in his secondary position out on the left

well if Liverpool can get him, I am sure United can beat the asking price as well as his wages.

Against Germany in the Euro 08 final he was constantly switching sides with the other winger...cant remember exactly who it was. Iniesta?

But he is definetly a real talent. With Benitez guiding him he can be world class, hes defo worth the money.

yep it was Iniesta. however, Iniesta isnt really a wide midfielder. hence Spain is often playing with a single winger that is swtiching from flank to flank. at times Villa will drop deep on the left to help with the flanks.

if Rafe knows how to use Babel, i swear Liverpool's wing play will be fearsome.

Trouble is Babel doesn't know how to use himself... :)

Plus, with the lad's stamina he won't ever play a full match.

Alright, Alberto Aquilani is more or less going to Anfield for about 20 mil pounds.

He does have something in common to Alonso: shooting from long range.

David Silva is a quality player. He's left footed but can play on the right or behind the stiker. I remember a few years ago he scored from 30 yards against Chelsea.
