As a long suffering city fan i want to get things off my chest! We might be the richest club in the world. However i think if we dont sign a world class player very earLy in january then we wont get any until at least the summer.Everyone may be laughing at city now and rightly so we couldnt beat an egg at the moment! But i am very confident in a couple of seasons that will all change.CITY TILL I DIE!!

I hear what you are saying and I feel for you as a fan, but City sucks and it will be a long time before all that could change.

    Cue the Nani jokes...

    2nd Andrei,

I mean, the big thing here is, there needs to be quality on all parts of the game: Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goalkeeping, Management, Training, Youth Program...

It takes a long time for that to develop, a few players isn't going to change the complete structure of a franchise, especially not Man City.

I understand why you might think so given such rich owners, but as a professional in the industry, especially on the player development side, Its going to take some time, even if they could get the likes of Buffon or Ribery, for them to develop into a continually formidable squad will take time. Although, admittedly, buying some big names is a great start.

What? I didn't foul him, I just nudged him a bit

    Not anymore ;)

Their owner is Bernie Eccelstone (from Formula 1) and I guarantee you that the Sheiks are richer than him.

they have to do like chelsea did.
Step 1: sack hughes and get Mancini or ranieri (any team builder that works well with average players and stars)

Step 2: signings... decent signings and they have to show that the sheikh being rich doesn't mean they will pay 100 mill for a player
Step 3: integrate and challenge for a uefa cup spot in the first and second season.
Step 4: more signings and integrating in order to challenge for a champions league spot.
Step 5: you have a real team and get a real winning coach like mourinho, lippi, capello...
