As Liverpool's first competitive game of the season it'll be interesting to see how Rafa adjusts Keane into the starting lineup and also whether Alonso gets a shot or not (if he's in, he's cup-tied and not going anywhere and that's probably curtains for Barry).
Leige defender Oguchi Onyewu ('Gooch' to Newcastle and US fans, he was on loan at St James Park earlier this year) says that it's unfair for league champions to have to qualify for the Champions League. Don't think he'd be whinging if it was Drogheda instead of Liverpool, but he has a valid point.
