I honestly don't understand why people are so fussed about OFM, i think it's crap.Totally unrealistic, and the whole idea of increasing your skill by training ridiculous. It doesn't really test your understanding of the game.Tactics hardly matter
With chelsea,i was on a 20 match winning streak doing nothing really, just rotating players and changing tactics here and there (defeated united 5-0
that hurt) then inexplicably i started losing.I infact ended up losing the last 8 matches, trying everthing (4-0 at home against stoke, while the earlier match, away from home, with the same manager, with both teams having used the same formation and tactics, I had won 7-0, and i had ronaldo with a rating of 109 and ibrahimovic with a rating of 103) and lost the title, losing the last match to united 5-0(at least it was united
),who infact overtook me only on the last day.
Soccermanager.com i think is much better. The ratings are better, the idea of world leagues is great, its much more detailed.Tactics play a much bigger role. It's the closest an online game comes to football manager.I know a lot of people here must have already used it.Those who haven't should check it out.
What i really wanted to find out, actually was,if somebody could name some great young players, who would be rated 90 or above(to give you a gist,Clemens Fritz is 90,Messi is 97,Ronaldo is 98,ribery is 95)
Pablo Piatti ,the wonder kid from almeria(he really is amazing and one to watch for the future, those who haven't heard of him,)is 88.Could anybody recommend someone better?soccermanager.com users, do you know any?
