Dear Soccerlenser,
I realize that football is a very passionate subject and that we sometimes need to vent our frustrations about our team's lack of performance; I realize that we do feel the need to attack our arch-rivals and their clubs. I know. I have been a football fan for too long to think that one day even one football fan can be free of bias.
As a result of this most of the discussion on the forum is very passionate. I do, however fear that it might soon become too passionate and that the harmony might be broken. In order to prevent this I ask of you - as a personal request - that you refrain from attacking without provocation.
I am talking especially about myself, Rhian and Ahmed Shah, but also about other members of the forum. We all love our clubs and we want to defend them, but we will not manage to do so by attacking other members on the forum; this forum was created for football discussion and argumentation.
To conclude, I am not trying to ban passionate discussion, all I want to do is keep the forum free of interpersonal wars and focused on disagreements with regards to football only (plus whatever RQ decides is the off-topic of the week
).
Thank you for your attention,
Andrei
PS I would like to apologize to Rhian for calling him "drunk" on one of the threads. Looking back to it, I realize that I did go over the line.
