It's good for English football but bad for passing football. Although England will develop a lot more stars there are a lot of problems.
1) English players don't seem to fit in well with passing entertaining football
2) There will be a lot of over rated overpaid footballers such as Bentley.
3) Is it discrimination? This will come up when they say he's better than him but he can't play because he's foreign. -

The problem isn't with the clubs who buy better quality, fairer priced foreign imports, but rather with the English FA who spent an exhorbitant amount on the New Wembley stadium instead of investing in their new academy. The 6+5 rule only really applies to England, and all it will really do is stop the Champions League from having all English Semi-Finals year after year.

Fair enough, but Inter have Balotelli and Santon waiting in the wings and it wouldn't be hard to go out and poach the likes of Quagirella and Russotto to add more Italian flavour to the squad

will this apply for domestic games or is it just european games?
either way i don't agree with potentially lowering the standard of football played at the top level to get more home grown talent in. If players arent good enough to play at the top level then they shouldnt do. -
