Santon's long striding style reminds me of when I first saw Sergio Ramos playing for Sevilla. I would love it if Manny U could grab him in part-exchange for Ronnie. He's definitely an awesome paring with Maicon, but will ultimately be a brilliant holding midfielder.

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

Oh, he's far superior as a tackler than Cashley.

He is very very very overrated.... never forget that he plays for inter.. a team that controls the pace of almost every game it plays. Put him in a struggling team like juve and see his true abilities.
Rivas looks like an average defender for inter while he cant play shit

A good talent. Not sure he is better than United's Rafael, though (I know he plays on the other side). I think that they are about the same.

    Cue the Nani jokes...

but cordoba, chivu and zanetti could fill in there too,and mourinho isnt usually somebody who plays very inexperienced players but he has chosen him for the derby and both united games.he must have talent if he has started in those games ahead of such experienced players

LOL bobo great minds think alike...when I watch Santon he reminds me so much of a younger Sergio Ramos...

Remains to be seen whether he can be better @ Ramos' age: Ramos is 22 and Santon's 18

Ibra's Abracadabra will help Barca win their second Treble, and Eto'o will revitalize Inter Milan!!

If he stays as a left back imagine having them both? Ramos @ RB Santon @LB would be good although the CB's would be screwed & the CMs would have to fill in as they bomb forward!

To their credit, there's been a lot written about Ronaldo being bad tonight, but I think Santon and Maicon were the only part of the Inter unit who performed well. Fantastic pairing!

Yea, same goes for the following players as well:

Rooney, Ronaldo, Henry, Eto'o, Raul, Del Piero, Drogba, Adebayor, van Persie and many others.

In case you have not noticed, strikers tend to be better defended aginst when they play against umm... better defenders. Hence: they have less opportunities -> hence: they score less.

Funny how I have not heard one commentator point that out! They are all like "he hardly ever shows up in the big games" and the likes, but none of them would take a fucking second to use that puree they have in place of a brain and notice that it is easier to play against Titus fucking Bramble that it would against Vidic (on a normal day).

Ronaldo: Like how Ronaldo scored against inter and was a constant threat in the first leg.. he would have scored more if it wasnt for julio cesar.
Rooney: Like how he gave a brilliant assist to Ronaldo against inter?

Del Piero: Like how he single handedly pwnt Real madrid in both legs with 3 of his goals.
Drogba: like how he scored in juve twice? his nickname is the big game player ffs.
Henry: 2 goals and an assist?

you are listing every player that actually performed well in the CL.. i can go on..
    What did Ibra do?
1 Goal in the group stage?

With Drogba psyched again and Essien back, Benítez is already scribbling excuses in his note book. Scouser Agonistes!

    chelsea dont have a chance...
reds deserved to win last time if it wasnt for riise lol
If anyone is going to stop Man U or barca it'd be liverpool...
The reds are the most unpredictable team. on paper their team sucks but somehow they manage to play brilliantly and defeat everyone
