   From the Daily Mail:

   "The Premier League will have the youngest referee in its history next season.

   At just 25, little-known Stuart Attwell is also thought to be the youngest ever official to reach the top flight of English football.

   It is a meteoric rise for the Warwickshire referee in that it comes after just one season in the Football League."

   Personally I think they're doing this so they can make refereeing more attractive to fans who are passionate about the game and want to get more involved. Then again, Attwell could actually be quite good.

   hmmm lets just hope he doesn't give out controversial (biased) decisions by bowing to "star" player & manager demands.

   Then I suppose everything should be okay. By the way is he like the game referee or the linesman?

   Young refs are usually less likely to yield to pressue, I find.

   By the way, does anybody know what is the name of a particular linesman? He is very young (mid to late 20's), blonde and never, ever makes a wrong decision. He has been put in charge of Chelsea-Liverpool once when Crespo scored the winning goal... just wondering because I think he is the best linesman in England.

   Cue the Nani jokes...
