So Terry has backed the respecting Refs campaign - heres a quote from the Guardian which pretty much sums it up
"The Get On With The Game campaign, a response to the Football Association's recently launched Respect scheme, is supported by all 20 clubs and will see captains and senior coaching staff present at the exchange of the team sheets in advance of every league fixture in a bid to open another line of communication with referees.
Officials will also seek the captains' cooperation on the pitch at flashpoints in matches, while television monitors are to be removed from technical areas in a bid to avoid overt dissent over decisions."

What do you guys think? - I think its biggest weakness is that its all a bit half arsed - I mean if they are going to do it they should enforce the rule Rugby uses - only the Captain should be able to speak to the ref - they have been talking about this rule for bloody years now and have done nothing about it. Sure, this is a step in the right direction but I cant see it changing too much. What with Chelease hardly being exemplary in this department is will be very interesting to see how the Terrys and Coles of the league change both their game and attitude - also can controlling/honing a bit of aggression contribute to losing a little bit to your game?
Some would say Rooney isnt the same since he has done this, not sure what I think about that really.
