Looks like Real Madrid's desire to replicate Manchester United is in full force. Why don't they just eliminate their scouting department and just go after players that Sir Alex and his coaches have already signed. Wouldn't that save a lot of time and money on Real Madrid's part?

Still, I was wondering whether it still makes sense to pay 30 million or more to secure Tevez. Obviously, they'll want to keep Tevez if and when Ronaldo leaves, but does it make sense to spend another 30 million to someone who might not start over Berbatov and Rooney? I wouldn't do it.

Oh yeah, Rhian, and wouldn't Kenyon offer his grandmother, mother, daughter and spread 'em for the Russian army to get his hands on our wee Carlitos? Of course Real and everybody else with dosh will want him. Actually, speaking of the devious Koorabchian, I'm looking forward to watching Liverpool implode and the great escape by the Spanish speakers which follows. The fight to get Mascharano will be interesting. He's who I want for Christmas!

United will keep Tevez if they can. Tevez / Rooney / Berbatov means that United's front-line is complete and they can now focus on other areas, such as the potential problem at right-back and in the goalkeeping spot, not to mention a potential problem in central midfield if Hargo fails to play more than 2 games in a row this season.

As for Mascherano - if United had em, we'd be quite happy.

Mascherano is a bencher...once Xabi is fit.

if tevez is unhappy to play 2nd fiddle to rooney who is clearly better then he should leave i mean united could just get the brazillian ronaldo i'm sure he'd be happy to come off the bench and be at a world class team nevermind just any team.

Whatever happens with Tevez, it's about money. It's a long long season and strikers get hurt. I love him because he's a grafter. He gives 100% in every match. You can't point a finger at him. I really hope we keep him because Rooney and Berbatov are both bound to be erratic over a long season.
