I had to try and fit Keane, Vieira and Gerrard but couldn't squeeze in Scholes, Van Nistlerooy, Terry, Giggs, Bergkamp, Zola, etc.

It's hard for the strikers, for me. I'm always going to be a tad biased, but I truly do think Thierry Henry, or Dennis Bergkamp, should be in the starting XI. Alan Shearer too, i've got a massive sentiment for that man.
Really? If Ronaldo says he is the best defender he has ever faced, then he is the best LB.
He's also never faced Patrice Evra 
But that still only accounts for 5 seasons out of 15 or so...you can hardly call him the best ever.
If Ronaldo one of the best players if not the best player in EPL history says he is, then he is.....
that argument lacks credibility because,as liversea said,ronaldo wasnt round long enough to be used as a good example.6 years of the whole premier league era isnt a big enough time span
