into the toughest league in the world

oh really? the prem is the toughest? who says so? what makes it so?....isn't it the most commercial league in the world? that doesn't make it the toughest....you have no empirical evidence of such...

the prem is a great league no doubt but i'd never say it's "the toughest"

physically it is because no other league plays at such a high tempo and the players are no mugs

Why is it the toughest? Because last season the only teams that knocked out the english were english.

Rhian, opinions may indeed be subjective, but for a team like, say, Everton, there are 38 P.L. games, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the EUFA Cup. If you succeed in the latter, with such a tiny squad, the natural attrition caused by injuries and plain old exhaustion really hit home come April. Clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and United (and to a lesser extent Liverpool) have huge squads and academies. The same probably holds true everywhere, but when you consider the extra physicality of the league, although it's not quite as harsh as Scotland, the EPL is probably the toughest.

i don't think it is....it's what they'd like everyone to believe....but i think it's toughest in Spain and Argentina,,,that is just an opinion but no-onee knows for sure which league is the toughest in the world

no Lahm pls, i want Rafael and Fabio to shine and not hinder their progress.

if Foster and/or Kuzzy aint up to the mark by the end of the season, get a keeper.

no point gettin lahm evra is better than him. All we need is a quality midfielder & a keeper. Rossi wouldn't even get in our squad! VDS is better than howard!

I agree with Hamburg, but Ferguson isn't playing Foster enough to test him properly.

like i said, they dont need a RB it is not important, unless Nev retires, Brown wants to move on and Rafael got poached. the keeper is the next important piece, cuz if Kuzzy and Foster dont buck up, it is deep trouble, they are already on borrowed time, VDS extended his retirement.

I just read that Wes is probably out for the season after surgery. Did anybody out there see Jonny Evans play right back for Sunderland? Tomorrow will be a big game for wee Rafa!

i agree...i think Wes brown should be starting for England.....i feel Cech and Ashley Cole and Bosingwa should be shot...damn they let in 4 goals....i wish we had that Manutd backline that's already took 10!!!

they're the best in the world...damn hull could only score 3 on them! what a world class backline!!
