mexes to play centre half and attack? i wouldn't want that so much since gallas tries to attack to often and so does clichy and sagna. i'd prefer a big beast of a player to sit back and who's comfortable waiting to cut out any attack down the middle

About Mexes, he sometimes has his 'moment of madness' like against Arsenal in the CL last season, stupidly tripping down RvP, while he is also a great reader of the situation. He'd be a very good signing for Arsenal, and a good move by the player...But personally, I'd hate one of my favourite players going to Arsenal

They've still got Gallas, Vermaelen, Silvestre, Song, Djourou, and Senderos at centre back. They should probably focus their attention to a strong, attacking wing back or a replacement for Ade. I think it's time to give players like Djourou a chance to show what they've got.
