Great night of champions league football for the English clubs Munich. I personally thought that Madrid where absolutely horrible. Pepe only had 1 serious save to make in goal and you would have been forgiven to think that Pool where the home team.

The match in London was an good one and Chelsea where out the starting blocks like someone lit a match under there arse. As for Munich They where efficient lethal and deserved their 5-0 away win.

What are your thoughts on tonight's matches...

not the best round ever was it?cant see any of tonights teams in the final tbh.the big game was a massive dissapointment, liverpool were poor, real just as bad.when your defensive players are the best ones when you win,it mostly says a bad thing about your teams attacking prowess

Yeah but i was impressed by the amount of attacking in the Juve Chelsea game. I was expecting a lot less. But Munich where just brilliant.

Liverpool did what they had to do, madrid will be kicking themselves. I think manu will be kicking themselves too, as Jose and inter will try to nick a goal and shut up shop, methinks. Munich were far too clinical, their oppos were crap in defence

sporting were never going to have much chance especially without veloso.
sgd010 u make it sound like shutting up shop at old trafford is easy lol!
liverpool got half the job done without stevie g and should have enough to see them through at anfield,i have a different feeling for chelsea tho as a 1 - 0 lead might not be enough when they go to turin.

Actually I think Lisbon had much more chances, they should of won. It was just Bayern made the use of their chances.

I agree Xerx....Lisbon threw away a lot of chances.

Duff, did you hear Dunphy slating Liverpool? I love watching him after a Liverpool match. Also Ronnie Whelan 'I don't go to the matches' :D

sgd010- how will UNITED (not manu) be kicking themselves? Yeah they should've scored but they dominated Inter in their own back yard and showed who the better team was
