We have soo many good midfielders coming through the academy which ones do you think should be coming in to the 1st team set-up? I personally think Davide Petrucci, Magnus Wolff Eikrem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPb2zwCHQWc (the 1st and the 3rd goals are by Eikrem) , Matty James and Adem Ljajic when he comes in january =) who do you think will shine the most and get into the midfield two with Fletcher and Anderson it will be hard personally i think Petrucci, Eikrem & Ljajic are all better than Carrick and Scholes at this moment so there is only Fletcher and Anderson to outshine.

it will still be a year or 2 before most of these guys are really gonna be considered regularly for the 1st team, although from what ive seen of them, pogba aside, they look quality.ive only read good things about pogbas first appearances.the future is bright!

Tom Cleverley is doing really well I read. The humiliation put on us by Mascherano and (my God!) Leyva proves that our deficiencies--whether it's Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson or Fletcher--are not going away. Barca and Livershite will do it to us again and again!!!

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

We have Fletcher, who was meant to play in these big games. We missed him in Champ's League final, and now we will miss him.

I hope we will get to see Hargo soon.

The reason we did so poor against pool is that fergie put out our worst possible midfield.
Giggs - He is not a winger anymore
Scholes - Too old totally past it
Carrick - total crapp house can't dominate a midfield
Valencia - terrible no killer instinct

    wt it should have been

Tosic - Great little player good at free kicks aswell
Anderson - Always does well against pool, arse, chels ect Strong, Quick, not afraid of a tackle & Excellent passer
Giggs - He plays very well in cm this season (altho i woulda had fletcher if he was fit)
Nani - I know alot of you hate him but he is much better than valencia, he is the best winger we have at the moment!

Valencia seemed good enough, he has pace as well as good off the ball movement. We didn't see his uncanny crossing during the match, but parts were there.

Playing both Giggs and Scholes was a big mistake, the team couldn't keep up with Liverpools high pressure game which is why only one of those two should have played, they both wanted too much time on the ball. I would have had Anderson and/or Fletcher in midfield, at least they would have had the energy to combat Masch and Lucas.

Nani also did a hell of a lot more than Giggs did when he came on, a few trademark wastes though, however he even tracked back a lot more than Giggs did.

Fletcher was his usual Jekyll & Hyde-self against CSKA tonight. We desperately need a central midfield hard man and lots of common prayer for Own Hargreaves!

he got a yellow for nothing, I guess he is a poor victim of all those little fouls.

This is where you see evidence of the true power of Arsenal and Wenger. How is it that Fletcher gets watched like a hawk by the refs, but so many of the real thugs in the PL get away with murder?
