certainly exciting, though i'm still hpoing that Liverpool cant pay the money for Torres who would then have to return to Atletico and then Fergie wil come to his rescue. Sounds complicated
. Anyway I think that the link is made up by some fan because it has yesterday's date on. Unless the deal has been ready since yesterday and the guys who run the site are awaiting confirmation. On the other hand there would be no reason the guys that run the site would know more than anyone else. They just write what they are told.

you can't make a link on manutd.com like that, not a news page link and certainly not one with a photo as banner.
it has yesterday's date on because the page was created yesterday.
the guys who run the site usually get the news a bit in advance.
