Hello everybody! Great to be back freezing my nalgas off in Chicago. Nice win over Chelsea. I'm sure many of you pointed this out already, but Anelka's diligence and dedication seems to only focus on gnawing on whichever hand is feeding him. Attacking Drogba seems to be the order of the day, but, to me, he's still the same old warrior troll. Gary Neville clearly showed the benefit of being allowed the largesse of the Gaffer's patience and trust on Sunday. Chelsea are not going to get much dosh for Drogba. They should definitely keep ahold of him for as long as he has the desire to stay. I think he has definitely been rushed back from injury too quickly and would benefit from more rest. The same will go for Essien; unfortunately, they desperately need his presence now. I've never had much good to say about Darren Fletcher but his tenacious determination to remain a squad member and willingness to throw his body into the fray has really impressed me lately.

Fletcher, McGregor and Brown are class players, The rest are pretty ify. I would love to see Walter try pairing Krissy Boyd and Steven Fletcher up front. Wasn't there supposed to be a boy wonder named McCarthy at Hamilton(?) who all the big clubs were interested in for five minutes.

it remains to be seen whether boyd will suck it up and apologise or he wont be playing but fletcher is good.id prefer to go with miller n mcfadden up front.the boy mcarthy did choose ireland, you'll see alot of him too he'll probs move to a big club in the summer,he's played a few under 21s and trappatoni rates him very highly. -

Great to be back, Duff. Was Father Christmas good to ya? Both Ireland and Northern Ireland seem on the verge of fielding high-quality young teams which are capable of W.C. qualification. Sorry, I forget it was Burley. He did a great job at Hearts, but is probably to old-school for the likes of Boyd and McGregor.McFadden has never quite lived up to the promise he showed under Davie Moyes.

ya he was pretty generous....as was chelsea a couple of weeks later
now that i think of it,we could put out a pretty decent team of young players in a few years.sean scannell with palace looks very good too

McFadden is good. The Championship is way below his level. He needs to stop being childish (playing under someone he knows) and move to a bigger club.

he was never consistently good, his main problem

McFadden could have been first-rate. I think he exhibits a compulsive need to only deal exclusively with the familiar. McLeish and Moyes may be charismatic coaches, but constant repetition in a short career is like that old cliché about kissing your sister. He would make a far better partner for Fernando Torres than that dense floater Robbie Keane.

Scotland don't have a hope in africa lol there isn't any sun cream strong enough. Park did play brilliantly against chelsea but he wasn't man of the match i'd have given it to evans maybe even giggs...yes i did just say that lol
