According to the Sunday Mirror and News of the World, the hammers Icelandic owners have demanded the sales of key players such as C Cole, Mathew Upson, Mark Noble, Robert Green and Scott Parker...

Bloody madness if you ask me getting rid of your top players, this is the danger of billionaires (not all just a couple of them) buying a clubs, they have no respect for the traditions and setup of the club, they just care about the money...

Well, selling your best players seems to keep the Arse smelling perfumey, doesn't it? Actually, my Gran came from the Mile End Road and was a rabid Hammers fan. She is turning over in her grave right now.

I STILL MISS NOBBY & BOBBY!!!

Arsenal can afford to sell one or two first team players, they got a bucket load of kids just waiting for their bite at the apple.... Wes Ham have got precious thin depth. If even two players leave their odds for relegation would halve.

no hes right.if they got better then odds would double.if upson goes particularly, then zola will have a big job on his hands to even get a top half finish.expectations need to be low for them

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see wee Gianfranco himself off to a richer club once the first round of firings begin. The Hammers without the great academy they've had since the fifties will become like all the other second rung clubs sniffing out big four rejects.

That would be a shame as Zola is doing great job - If lucky, you can make it into Europe

Hmm? So if they lose two players then it would be twice as easy for them to stay up? How is that?

Liversea mate i can see your not a betting man... if your odds for relegation are 100/1 you stand a better chance of staying up than if they are at 2/1.

Hense if they half your more likely to go down
