Liverpool completed their first 'big' signing of the summer, bringing in Torres on a 6-year deal for 20m or so.
We've already asked if Torres is a good signing or not - the next question is, who's next for Liverpool?
Yes they need a winger but with Malouda chased by Chelsea and Real Madrid who else can Liverpool go for? Or are they going to convert Riise and Aurelio to left wingers and bring in Heinze?

IMO just signing Torres is not going to be a panacea for them.
They need quality wingers on both sides (assuming Gerrard is not a right winger). I think 'pool will do good to look to the Dutch league for some answers as most play with the classic 4-3-3 formation that asks for attacking wingers. Also they might also seriously look at Giuly from Barcelona or if they have more money Quaresma from Porto. These are two names that pop out immediately

I just checked Liverpools transfers... 9 in, 8 out (and still not done).
That's 'heavy'. It's a complete team overhaul. Is this a good thing?
apart from 3 (torres, benayoun and babel) who else is in for the first team in 'pool?
and all these three are in the top end of the pitch. They needed overall there anyway
