Liverpool are interested in Keane and Villa. Big difficulties in the way of getting either, not least money. But if they could get either, who'd be best for the team? Keane is proven in the EPL, is a mate of Gerrard and would hit the ground running. Villa was top scorer in Euro 2008. Who'd be the best for a Liverpool assault on the EPL title?

of course he'll partner torres better, and keane, i think, is little match for villa. But dont u think villa will go to some spanish club...

Villa is a good player himself, and I'm sure he can play with no support of some Spanish on a field, and Keane can still be the main star in every team

Robbie Keane will cheap in with about 20 plus goals per season. Torres will get about 30. That would be good enough for a Liverpool push for the title. Far from being overrated are you guys underestimating Keane?

Keane is a fantastic footballer and I'd have loved to have him at United before we got Tevez. His bird is fine too
If Villa goes to Pool it will be because no big club in Spain wants him and none of the top 3 in England want him either. I'd be surprised if that happens. Keane won't leave, Pool don't have the 20-25m that Spurs will ask for.

cglend is right.
besides, you can't just say top 3.. liverpool is still in the picture. it's the 'big 4' and although liverpool was at the bottom of it last year it doesnt mean theyll be there again for sure next season. none of them will sign with liverpool because villa stated that he wanted to stay in spain and if liverpool was to get keane this summer then they would of traded him for crouch. i think they should sign someone else, perferably an attacking midfielder. -

Ive said before on here all liverpool need to do is sign a couple of wingers, and 1 of them should be bently. Then Rafa needs to stop messing about with players and play the players where they are best suited, Gerrard in the middle and Carragher in the centre of defense. Play the same 11 week in week out and give Utd a run for their money this season because they have the squad and players to do so. If torres can score 30 goals a season and gerrard can chip in with his usual tally then i dont think they need another striker. Kuyt would get a few as would bently. In gerrard and mascherano they have 2 very strong midfileders so i think they could play with 2 very attacking wingers and let torres run riot

Keane far more Premier League experience, and you can see that when he plays. He is so used to the types of tackles etc. he is one step ahead of the players. Which is more the reason why he gets 20+ goals a season. Villa is better and has potential to be far better but Keane now has more technical ability, while Villa has more skill. The only thing is that Keane play for Spurs. So you can't have him.
Bilal does have a point. Why is it only Liverpool that never compete for big name players? They only go for players no team wants. I can assure you, no Spanish team was looking to buy Torres from Atletico Madrid. It was only Liverpool that approached him. Same with this season. They bought Degen who wasn't in the first team for Switzerland, Dossena who many Italian football fans don't know, Cavalieri from Palmeiras who no one outside of Brazil knows and he isn't young either, they bought Weijl who I don't know if he is good. I'm just saying, you'd never hear Liverpool trying to sign Benzema or van der Vaart

I think that Keane's ability to read the game is amazing, he scores some great goals and he can either be an out and out striker or he is suited to playing the support role. Him, Gerrard and Torres would make this season coming very intresting.

i think personally villa is better cause of his finishing and pace, but keane is hardworking and is gd in reading the game.but well keane is already in the team so i will say that he is going gd now

I really think we need to sell Keane to some suckers for 30 million pounds and use that towards a 40 million pound transfer for Villa, just think about it. Villa and Torres have had so much experience playing together for Spain and Atletico Madrid, together they and Liverpool will be unsoppable!

arrogant?no.its been made definite BY VILLA HIMSELF that he will not go to england.his preference is staying with valencia.unless valencia get to the CL and get a massive capital increase by the summer,he will have no choice but to leave valencia,in which case real madrid and barcelona will be right on his trail.do i seem arrogant now?
