seems that it will take place...
Have been compared to the zidane transfer saga 2001..... 120 mill Euros is a huge some of money for Milan... they can buy like 6 players each at 20 mill in his replacement..
is he really worth that much.
I'd buy ribery for 40 mill... shay given for like 25.. Hangeland for like 12... Lucio for 18 ... and maybe even benzema

no doubt hes a good player but for 100 mil you could buy an entire half decent first team, waste of bloody money if you ask me
-
Posted 10 months ago #
he is that good he is like milans gerrard but seriously city is retarded that money is crazy they could invest in south american talent or european whatever... but if milan do sell ill be sad
but at least we can renovate our old team

i still think it wont happen.city wont challenge the top 4 for another 2 years, even with kaka.im sure he realises that too

they are not buying him as a player. He is being bought for 2 reasons: publicity, and for selling shirts.

I dunno but surely Man City's purchases seem to be very erratic....I think they're just after names not players they actually need...

ya,if kaka came to the club, then it would send out a message to everybody else.that they are serious,it would help attract other big names
-

yeah but duff their real problems lie in the back....their mid and front are stuffed....Robinho, Elano, Johnson, Mills, Ireland, SWP, Petrov, Haman, Fernandes and up front Bojinov, Caicedo, Benjani, Jo, Sturrige, Vassell and Evans.....do they really NEED KAKA???
9 first team midfielders and 7 strikers???? and now KAKA....FOR WHAT? And note they have no DEFENSIVE Mid...Haman is too old.
-

oh ya i completely agree with you,its kinda pointless signing him, especially with their current problems.i think they have made a 13.3m move for nigel de jong, which is sensible

I heard that City offered for about 158 million pounds for Kaka...am I right?
mufan's utter lack of knowledge of English makes his joke all the funnier. Haha!!
-
Posted 10 months ago #
that could be the figure in euros.i doubt its that big in pounds
-
Posted 10 months ago #
or even dolar?
-

I wonder if Kaka is Hughes' idea or its the owners idea... You cant build a team with superstars first and then try build around them. That's what Madrid did with the galacticos era an we all know how well that turned out... a 3 year drought
-
Posted 10 months ago #
they are hungry for trophies in that era...
-
Posted 10 months ago #
as far as i have heard, hughes isnt even speaking to kaka personally, its all garry cook.so he doesnt have much involvement.and im sure the owners are the real coveters of kaka,to launch the man city brand

the Arabian owners the right word to replace the word 'the owners'...
-

i bet those idiots don't even know what position kaka plays, they just want the biggest names... But Kaka dosen't seem like a greedy player he's very spiritual and humble.

agree with you Ghostwriter
-
Posted 10 months ago #
Spiritual and humble my ass...he tithes his income but so what?
He is ARROGANT

Kaka maybe going to City for the money but wasnt everyone saying when the Arabs took over that City would be great in a few years with all the cash they have but now when they ARE signing top players people are saying those players are going for the money and it's not a footballing decision. Well, Isnt that obvious ? City have to start somewhere. Maybe Kaka is thinking the same thing. City have to start somewhere with all the cash they have. MAYBE he wants to make a City a big club and this is a start.

It doesn't bother me whether Kaka goes or doesn't to be honest. But what does, is the fact the if Milan do decide to let him go that Kaka will be getting the likes of 2.2 million per month. That's just ridiculous. Not good for football.

If Kaka goes football would have officially sold its soul, to the oil rich devil

i just realised that this transfer represents much more than i thought it did like what ghostwriter said, i know he wants to stay at milan its just the damn owner pushing him, ancelotti probly doesnt want to sell, this transfer would just break all equilibrium, overinflated prices and wages, less loyalty to ones club, more power shifted to premier league, the end of the big 4 possibly but in some 2 or 3 years, milan may not qualify for champs league. What would be the source of inspiration for us pato is too young, ronaldinho over his prime, pirlo maybe... What if kaka flops his career is over OVERALL bad move for everyone. oh and liversea how is he arrogant?

Kaka' WILL FLOP IF he goes to City?
-
Posted 10 months ago #
i dont think this is possible
-
