OK guys it's official...Kaka's now a Real Madrid player after they paid a princely sum (a new transfer record of 65 million euros) for him...who else thinks that Real are dumb for splashing out money on a player that hasn't produced for the past 2 seasons...he might have been the world's best player 3 seasons ago but he didn't do anything for Milan these past 2 seasons...what makes Madrid think he can help turn their fortunes around? Doesn't Florentino Perez know by now that just "collecting" star players won't land him trophies? a team needs to have chemistry, discipline, and players that work well together. It remains to be seen whether this new incarnation of los Galacticos could outperform the former

Also, Real Madrid have installed Manuel Pellegrini (the former manager of Villareal) as their new manager. Does anyone know anything about this guy, and is he the right choice to guide the Galacticos Version 2.0 to trophies?

What other players should Real madrid buy to challenge my FC Barcelona for trophies? THey defo need some in the defensive department, and possibly even a new keeper too...Casillas was the world's best keeper last year...but this season he was horrendous :)

Speaking of Barca what players should they buy...or are they good enough as it is to retain the Treble?

Ibra's Abracadabra will help Barca win their second Treble, and Eto'o will revitalize Inter Milan!!

Pellegrini is a great coach always putting the team ahead of the individual, he is the type of manager who isn't afraid to give the big ego's a kick up the arse to get them playing, he's exactly the type of manager Real Madrid need. I give him 3 months before he walks because the team is being picked by Perez or gets sacked because he rests all those expensive attacking players in favour of unglamourous, un-galactico defenders.

I was surprised Kaka went so quickly, looks like Real are getting ready for a lot of signings but I don't mind them bringing back the Galactigos, maybe El Classico will actually be a decent competition now...

pellegrini is a great signing as manager, his style will be perfect for real.as hazard said, the biggest problem will be the egos.perez will NOT let anybody upset them

remember fernado herrira and ivan helurgra were their central defence partenship, those two pair are good even with their mistake..

Kaka is wayyyy past his prime, When Chelsea bought Sheva he was 30 and at his peak, Kaka is 27 and has already passed his peak, huge waste of money.
    People worth such money:
Ronaldo,Essien,Ribery,Messi (he wont go to Madrid), Xavi.

They are gonna be even worse then this year.

But Zidane was playing like he was when younger, compare Kaka to his last year or the year before that, then what?

Kaka's defo still got it in him, much like Zidane, these types of players lose a yard of pace by 28, but their ball control and reading of the game become phenomenal. Although Perez didn't sign him to win anything, just to move shirts.

Albiol has said that he would like to play in the Prem, Arsenal should move on this as they could proabably get him cheap with Valencia up shit creek.

I don't know if Bruno Alves is ready for the pressure cooker of the Bernebeu, Mexes is a big ego player, who, while solid, can be expected to clash with a few in the dressing romm. If Real are smart, they could probably get Kolo Toure, who is experienced, mature and can defend. Him and Ricardo Carvalho in defence might just be what they need.

Carvahlo will not be sold to Real. If they want him better give us Sneider.

Carvalho wants out and I don't think Carlo is fool enough to try to keep him if he wants to go, take the insane money Real are going to throw at you and go buy Villa

Alves is a great athlete but 100% donkey, repeatedly prone to massive clangers. He would be well matched with the nutter Pepe: Ha! Real would be much wiser to partner Raul Albiol with Ezequiel Garay.
