    From the official Liverpool website,

"Liverpool FC confirmed this evening that they had reached an agreement with Portsmouth Football Club and with Glen Johnson for the transfer of the player to Anfield. "

A good signing for Liverpool in my opinion, we've needed a full-back and being English and all Johnson is perfect.

Now all they need is Aaron Lennon, and David Silva and They're complete.

I think Silva is needed more than Lennon...Kuyt can play well on the right wing, whilst Riera and Babel have the left covered. Silva can switch and do both sides, which is pretty convenient...

I think this might be Liverpool's only signing of the summer due to their financial restraints. Bet Hicks and Gillette were having second thoughts about signing Johnson too. Guess this means Arbeloa's going to Real.

If both Arbeloa and Dossena go, which is a possibility, then 'Pool might be able to sign another solid striker.
