Is Forlan going to Utd...again?? You'd think that he's developed as a striker since his first stint with the club, given the fact that he beat Eto'o as Top Scorer this past season in La Liga

Sold a Ronaldo for 80mil will get more good players come to MU . Next year MU will become 4th successive BPL champion , FA cup champion , English Cup champion and UEFA Champion .

So the ponce looks like he is finally going then? A fine player but good riddance to his smugness, pouting, indiscipline, arrogance and ego. All things i wont miss in a hurry. The Ronaldo to Madrid, will he or wont he circus that has followed him around can finally end because i was bored of it ages ago, probably like many other fans.
United will be there or there about's again next season because they have the best all round squad of players in the Prem and 1 player doesn't make a team. Usually when a big player leaves someone else step's up their game anyway, most likely Rooney who will play an even bigger role next season.
Fergie will sign quality this summer and strengthen again and i would imagine they will become a better 'team' and being a team player was certainly not one of Ronaldo's strengths. Plus Man Utd have one of the best young players in Europe in Adem Ljajic already signed to the club and will arrive next January. That kid will be a massive star in world Football so maybe Fegie had that in mind when this decision was made.

Well, I hope we sign Tevez now, there's no "We didn't have the money" excuses now... An I'm surprised the deal was done so quick, I thought It would have stretched out over the summer, but I guess its better this way, I would have preferred one more season before he went, but he's done well for us and we sorta expected this to happen eventually plus if Rooney plays as CF we wont need Ronaldo!

well the forward department is full now, and the wings are more pressing. so unless Rooney wants to play in the left winger for at least half a season. we have to accmodate 3 strikers who want to be part of SA2010 and a winger problem, unless u guys think Nani and Parky is sufficient.

yeah, Bayern might not sell, theres a change though. hence, Alexis Sanchez will fit the bill, plays on the left of midfield, intelligent lad, quick, full or tricks and loves to shoot. 20miliion pounds.
maybe with the spare cash we can lookin A.Valencia, since Ronaldo is gone, Real will not want him and we shall grab him.

Dman I dont know about that. I mean Chelsea had a bid for 45 mil pounds for Aguero and they rejected. Bayern want a fee in between what Kaka costed 56mil--80 mil of that of Ronaldo.

but say real or united(or chelsea if they are interested) bid 35 or 40m for him,do you think bayern could refuse that?they arent bringing in tons of cash from TV deals,they probably dont have a lot left in the transfer budget after signing gomez,so with that massive injection they could strengthen further,which clearly is needed

This deal is GENIUS on United's part. Sold him quickly so that they could join the race for the likes of Ribery, Tevez, Benzema, Eto'o (??). The winner of this deal is Manchester United. It could not have been better timed. I'm hoping Benzema/Tevez and Ribery arrive.
I think this surely now means that Van Nistelrooy's going out. Wasnt Ronaldo the reason he left United in the first place ? Wonder how he takes this...
And imagine this: Cristiano Ronaldo & Kaka vs Lionel Messi. Man I cant wait for the next El Classico.

David Villa looks set to join Real Madrid after Chelsea's chief scout in Spain revealed that the Valencia star is in advanced talks with the capital club…
Real Madrid are on the brink of signing David Villa from Valencia after Chelsea were told that they had no chance of signing him, according to the Blues' Spanish scout
Juan Cruz Sol is the English team's representative in Spain and he stated that Chelsea have been given a firm "no" to their offer for the player because the Mestalla club are "in advanced negotiations with Real Madrid".
The former Valencia and Madrid player confirmed that the Blues "had made an important offer for him", but he insisted that it was not for €48 million as has been reported.
"Villa wants to go to Real Madrid" and things are "well advanced" meaning that Chelsea "recognise that and are waiting to see what happens".
"He wants to join Madrid because he wants to stay in Spain and that is normal.
"There is no chance of Villa going to Chelsea because he wants to now go to Madrid," he said according to Marca.
Valencia had insisted that €35 million for their striker would not be enough and reports in the Spanish media that Madrid had agreed to add Alvaro Negredo to the deal appear to be true.
Real Madrid have already signed Kaka and have had a bid for Cristiano Ronaldo accepted, so the capture of Villa could make it a huge week for the Bernabeu-based outfit.
