He's a slimy git and should have been run out of town with Dennis Wise. Season tickets for next season were sold last summer so we paid Prem price to watch Championship games, and the berk would never refund us. At least we have wor Alan

What about sacking Martin Jol and going behind his back to meet Ramos? Spending ridiculous sums during the credit crunch, selling then rebuying Keane, Defoe, Chimbonda etc. Also, the balls he showed in waitng for a bit more money cost spurs a decent start to the season and Ramos's job as well as nearly losing his own. He ruined Campbells season, an England under 21 who'd be involved this summer if he had some playing time at somewhere like Hull

Spending money doesn't account for being a great chairman, it just appeases fans. I think if Tottenham had someone different they would have probably broken into the top four by now instead of bobbing up and down the table since the infamous food poisoning incident. A better chairman would have built on what was their best season in recent times, and he seems a bit prone to spending unnecessary money with the likes of Boateng, Bentley, Kaboul etc
